Zakat al Fitr (or Sadaqat al Fitr) is a duty that is paid on the occasion of Eid al Fitr and is required of every Muslim, whether male or female, minor or adult, if the total value of his/her Zakatable assets (cash, gold, silver, merchandise) plus non-essential items (i.e. assets above his basic needs) minus liabilities (debts) equals or exceeds Nisab.

Ramadhan 1441 (2020) Update
This is the first Ramadhan since the opening of Masjid Quba in Healey, Batley and it gives us great pain and sadness that the current situation means we cannot utilise our Masjid in this blessed month. We ask everyone to make dua to Allah SWT that we get back to normality quickly so that we can offer our salaahs in the Masjid again.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: Masjid Closure to the Public
On the advice of our senior Ulemas and in line with Government guidelines, it is with great sorrow that we announce that all congregational activities in the Masjid’s named below are suspended with immediate effect. This decision has been taken after careful consideration and will be under constant review.
Launch of Slido at Masjid Quba
Masjid Quba would like to introduce Slido, a safe and personal tool that allows you to ask a question and communicate with your local Imaams and Masjid. This website/app will give the community a safe space and a new forum, in which to pose those Islamic or challenging questions that we may struggle to ask face to face.
Update – 08th November 2019
Alhamdulillah following a well received opening ceremony, Masjid Quba has now opened for 5 times Daily Salaah. Additionally Madrasah is now running 5 days a week.
